why knit when crochett only needs 1 (one) needle!!!! one of my favorate projects is a grannysquare-side-shoulder purse - my own creation and very very VERY customizable and forgiving for learners Description: Create a grannysquare (most pattern versions work however i like a solid style so my items dont fall out) in odd numbers (1st row should be ch2, dc x 4, *dc x 5*, repeat * for other 3 sides and at the corners sc x 3) and work until desired bowl depth is created.... fold corner to corner and dc short angles tapering and long for shoulder to hip wearing. Use buttons to join the two shoulder strips (also, so that stretching can be corrected after use). Flap is made in tapering grannysquare style while missing the corner. Buttons added for closure. Sort of hard to explain, so i had a model demonstrate... *sigh* men LOL I'll see if i can find it among the other purses so a better picture can be taken... Also, it is worth mentioning that i HATE patterns.. never could read the darn things so most of my projects are out of my cranium... once in a blue moon, I will sit down and attempt to decipher a project - then give up and make my own version. If you have any questions or would like more specific details, send a PM and ill try to give more information.
